The recent Superbowl was a blowout for the Kansas City Chiefs, the game ended with a final score of 31-9 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning by a landslide. But one thing that has popped up recently on social media is an interview with Bill Burr by The Herd from last year where Burr essentially predicted the finalists for this year’s Superbowl.
The interview began with him being asked “As a Boston guy, if Brady goes to Tampa and wins a Superbowl, would you be bitter?
“He [Tom Brady] took us to nine and we won six, you can’t complain and what I love is if he wins in Tampa, he’ll do what a lot of great quarter-backs haven’t been able to do is go to that next team … if he does this I think it would be a great thing because I know he’s a big fan of Joe Montana and Joe Montana when to Kansas City and immediately made them a playoff team — but wasn’t able to get them a championship, and if he wins it I just wanna know what is Jim Irsay and the Colts gonna say?,” said Burr.
“I would love to see Tom Brady go up against Patrick Mahomes and the Cheifs … I would love to see that matchup.”

He then goes onto say “if the Patriots don’t make it with Cam Newton, which I think we’ve got as good a chance as anybody, I would love to see Tom Brady go up against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs … I would love to see that matchup — I think that would be an incredible Superbowl — but I am not bitter at all in the last 20 years I got to see all four of my sports teams win a championship and if I’m perfectly honest I would’ve thought I’d see the Redsocks win a World Series before I ever saw the Patriots win a Superbowl. I mean when I was growing up, I didn’t even feel like we were in the league,” he said.
