When speaking to a logistics broker in the trucking industry, they told Diverge Media that they’ve spoken to customers with a litany of complaints. The complaints ranged from drivers who couldn’t back into loading docks (basic CDL skill required to pass licensing), drivers who had no clue how to strap down or secure their loads, and it wasn’t infrequent to hear of drivers showing up in sandals who couldn’t speak English. They’ve also had customers take the loads off of trucks after foreign-born drivers would show up in sandals and not know how to chain their loads.

Another Carney conflict? PM won’t rule out Canadian troops in Ukraine but why?
Prime Minister Mark Carney’s former company, Brookfield, where he holds millions of dollars in stock, is set to benefit enormously from the reconstruction of Ukraine. Perhaps this explains why conflict Carney won’t rule out putting Canadian troops on the ground in Ukraine – he needs to protect the assets of himself and his friends at Brookfield.
60% of Canadians say First Nations communities should have same rules as other Canadians – Liberals disagree
According to a recent Angus Reid poll, 60% of Canadians said that First Nations communities should be governed by the same rules and systems as other Canadians. Here’s the issue: Mark Carney’s Liberals think that First Nations communities shouldn’t be a part of the Canadian system, and they’ve made that clear with their adoption ofContinue reading “60% of Canadians say First Nations communities should have same rules as other Canadians – Liberals disagree”
Staley: Poilievre is right, EV mandates will end rural life
I write this as someone who lives in rural Saskatchewan and relies on a 21-year-old Toyota with 370,000 kilometers. Pierre Poilievre is right: the Liberal government’s EV mandates, which would end the sale of gas-powered vehicles by 2035, threaten rural life. If these policies proceed, many rural Canadians like me could lose the ability to live and work outside urban centers.
Canada gives $14 billion to support EV corporate welfare – problem is, they aren’t selling without your money
From January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2032, the Canadian government will distribute over $ 14 billion in corporate welfare to “secure greater access” to battery cell and module production in Canada. The money was awarded to NextStar Energy. The company is based in Windsor, Ontario. Here’s the issue: when the government cuts subsidies for electric vehicles, their sales fall off a cliff. Very few people want an electric vehicle if they have to pay the full price.
Scandal? PM Carney’s potential conflicts of interest on Air Canada are reason to question why he ordered workers back to work so quickly
When Mark Carney refused to disclose his conflicts of interest to Canadians before the election, it should’ve set off alarm bells in every Canadian’s head. Now Carney is attempting to use government legislation to force Air Canada workers back to work less than 12 hours after the strike had begun. The potential conflict is that Brookfield, where Carney has ties, has investments in the aviation sector, including ties with Air Canada. This overlap could explain the Prime Minister’s urgency in ending the strike.
You can’t take a walk in the woods in Canada anymore? New Brunswick Premier says the quiet part out loud
Lately, Canadian politicians have been acting like helicopter parents who must “protect” all their precious little babies. Recently, the truth slipped out when New Brunswick Premier Susan Holt told reporters that the real reason for the bans isn’t to prevent fires at all – it’s because they won’t be able to rescue you if you got a big Ouchy and needed help.
Canadian Private property rights eroded – Country marches towards two justice systems
Can a country be prosperous if every time it attempts to build a large-scale project, it must first consult and get permission from hundreds of mini-nations? How can Canada be unified if we must seek special permission from indigenous groups for every nation-building project? How can Canada call itself a country if it allows for a two-tiered justice system – one for indigenous peoples and another for everyone else?
Canada has lost the ability to build big things because our “leaders” are blinded by an ideology that is ripping apart the fabric of Canada. I’m sure in writing this, I’ll be accused of racism, colonialism and whatever else is “fitting” for a white man. That’s the goal, isn’t it?
