Here’s what Canada’s subsidized media didn’t tell you about the Montreal shooters’ manifesto;
The killer’s manifesto made 26 mentions of Karl Marx, 270 mentions of the word “Bourgeois,” 124 mentions of anti-capitalist sentiment, and 76 mentions of revolution. The left-wing media in Canada are trying hard to bury these facts because they’re extremely inconvenient to them. The left has spent the better part of the last decade framing the increasing hate and risk of extremist violence in Canada as a one-sided, right-wing issue. The truth is, extremism belongs to both the extreme left and right, who have a tendency towards violence and desire authoritarian/totalitarian controls to force their messed up ideology and rigid world view down the throats of the masses.
If we are to believe Canada’s mainstream media, Sean Hatfield, the Montreal shooter who killed two people, was a right-wing Incel. However, the truth is much more uncomfortable for Canada’s left-wing establishment. The truth is, Canada has a left-wing Incel problem. I’m not saying the Incel problem doesn’t exist on the right, but everything this individual espoused indicated he was a radical communist/leftist who hated Conservatives and Capitalism. What he espoused sounded like an Antifa manifesto – that is, he sought a communist revolution (Antifa types often are often communist or anarchist).
The truth is, there is a ton of hate and extremism coming out of Canada’s left wing today. Antifa comes to mind (specifically Montreal Antifa) and organizations like Anti-Hate Canada, who soak up taxpayer funding and appear to act more like a brown shirt operation (in my humble opinion) for the federal government than a genuine “anti-hate” group. I say this because this prominent group only focuses on what they refer to as “right-wing extremism,” and though all extremism is important to stamp out, this group believes that being against abortion is an example of a far-right view. For instance, the group labelled the leader of New Blue, Jim Karahalios, as a leader who was taking “far-right” positions because of his beliefs on abortion.
Anti-Hate article mentioning Jim Karahalios and New Blue

The Anti-Hate network insinuated that New Blue leader Jim Karahalios took the “far-right” position of opposing abortion. They said that during a local debate, he “dodged” a question on 2SLGBTQ+ and instead said that “It starts by respecting the dignity of human life. That starts from conception to natural death”. Imagine being labelled “far-right” because you’re a Christian and value life.
This is the same organization that claims to be fighting hate and extremism but also links directly to Montreal Antifa’s website in their “40 ways to fight the far-right” handbook. It should also be mentioned that by clicking the link to Montreal antifa’s website, provided by Anti-Hate Canada, it brings readers into a radical ecosystem of “allied sites” (Like Portland Antifa) that discuss the need for revolution and violence and the need to defund the police. One site that’s linked as an allied site (Sub Media) even has merch like ACAB (all cops are bastards), no face no case, and while you’re there, why not grab a burning cop car sweater?

Another article that can be found by following Anti-Hate Canada’s link to the Montreal Antifa website is an article titled “Assassination as an Anarchist Tactic” – the article is reminiscent, in my view, of the tactics recommended by Hatfield in that he provided a list of targets that were seen as a tactic or objective for his “revolutionary” goals.
So when I say the left doesn’t exactly want to draw these inferences and point out the truth in this matter, you can see clearly why. They promote all the same thinking and extremism while pretending to care about the violence. They can’t have you acknowledging that the ideology they’re actively pushing in our colleges and Universities and newsrooms has become the fertile ground upon which left-wing extremism is flourishing.
Examining Hatfield’s extreme views versus Antifa’s
Hatfield on Communism: Hatfield praised the works of Marx, Engels and the Communist Manifesto. He viewed a communist system as the “best” system for an Incel like himself because it would “deprive the Bourgeois class of its ability to enslave us and hoard our women.” He went on to say that “without their private property, they simply can do none of the things which they presently do that result in our biological deprivation.”

He also wanted complete state control of all credit and to abolish car ownership, as he believed this was part of the problem for Incels because it allowed women to travel further for their preferred partners rather than seeking out relationships closer to home.

Antifa echoes similar sentiments. For instance, one popular Antifa blog wrote that they “continue to believe that anti-fascism is definitionally revolutionary at its core,” and because it “is inseparable from struggles to dismantle the capitalist and colonialist structures that sooner or later foster the rise of fascist ideas and formations, structures faithfully guaranteed by the bourgeois state through its institutions and armed forces. “ One article by Antifa that I found through Anti-Hate’s links in their literature was titled “Assassination as an Anarchist Tactic“.
I’m sure I don’t need to elaborate on the many similarities in the killer’s thinking versus those espoused by Antifa. The overlapping themes are belief in communist ideals and the need for revolutionary violence to overthrow capitalism and colonialist rule.
Hatfield also had some bizarre and extreme views on how his ideal communist government should handle the internet. He said that the government should have complete control of the internet and use it as a tool to essentially hunt down “degenerates” who find ways to “get around restrictions.” He wrote that “the only access that the public will have will be in public locations, where random other members of the public can easily see what anyone is looking at. The state will be able to easily locate and prosecute unauthorized internet users.”

If I had to give a genuine distillation of the entire manifesto, it would be this;
Sean Hatfield was a left-wing Incel. As a result, Hatfield thought that Communism was the Ideal political system because it would make females more likely to get with an Incel like him. After all, by limiting capital and travel, and having complete state control over everything, women wouldn’t have as much ability to be with their preferred partners. He was a staunch anti-capitalist, anti-Conservative (calling them Conservative Swindlers) who advocated for violent revolution, and all of this is in line with Antifa ideology.

Montreal Killer’s view On Jewish people
Hatfield also expressed some anti-semitic views but ultimately said that some jews are bad because they support the “western bourgeois class” and other Jewish people were “some of the most renowned and effective combatants against the western bourgeois class.”

Contrary to some assertions online, it is my view that the attack wasn’t motivated by anti-semitism, but it appears that the killer was targeting the PornHub headquarters nearby because of his hatred for pornography, coupled with his Incel beliefs. Police are currently investigating this possibility. It is unknown currently why he targeted the area he did. Yes, a Jewish Rabbi died, but it’s currently unclear whether Hatfield was responsible for this or if an officer under extreme duress made a heart-wrenching mistake.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of Officer Mohamed Lamine Benredouane (34) and Rabbi Michel Mizrahi (68).
With that being said, it is precisely from this place of pain and loss that I ask the left-wing media establishment in Canada to recognize the problems with promoting Antifa ideology in our educational institutions and in our newsrooms. We must also call out and stand against organizations that willfully promote Antifa ideology, which is often radical and violent.
