Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held a sobbing, grieving father, looked him in the eye and promised justice – then he ensured justice and accountability couldn’t happen. This is the biggest scandal happening in Canada that you haven’t yet heard about.
To illustrate the importance of this story, I’ll ask a question. If Canada’s policing is no longer independent from the Prime Minister’s Office – isn’t Canada technically a police state?
On January 12th, 2020, then Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke to a crowd of roughly 1700 at a vigil held for victims of PS752. It was there that the Prime Minister told those gathered that he would “pursue justice and accountability” for Iran’s shootdown of the civilian airliner with 2 missiles. 176 souls in total perished; 55 were Canadian citizens, and 30 were permanent residents of Canada. It is now clear, in light of new findings, that the Prime Minister never intended to pursue justice or accountability.
Just one day before the vigil, on January 11th, 2020, the Prime Minister took a selfie with Shahin Mogahaddam. Mr. Mogahaddam lost his wife Shakiba and son Rosstin on flight PS752. It was on this day that the Prime Minister told the grieving father and husband that he “would not rest until there is justice and accountability.”
On January 22nd, 2020, the RCMP had detailed plans to launch a criminal investigation into the atrocity Iran had committed. On January 27th, 2020, RCMP Mounties met with officials from the Department of Justice and Public Prosecution. Roughly three weeks later, on February 14th, 2020, Prime Minister Trudeau met with the Foreign Minister of Iran, Javad Zarif. It was only 12 days later that the RCMP messaged the Department of Justice informing them they would not be launching a criminal investigation as they had intended.
The timing of this cannot be glossed over. How does the RCMP go from a detailed plan to launch a criminal investigation, to dropping those plans altogether just 12 days after the Prime Minister met with Iran’s Foreign Minister? What Kind of evil must possess a man (Justin Trudeau) to enable him to look a grieving father in the eye and promise justice and then ensure that justice is impossible?
“IN MY VIEW, and without mincing words, the RCMP have abrogated their duty and responsibility under Canadian law and disregarded provisions of the Criminal Code of Canada enabling a prosecution – thereby effectively sloughing off the PS752 case onto Ukraine under the pretext that it is “the most competent authority” to lead a criminal investigation.
It just so happens that the RCMP’s decision to drop their duty of responsibility to Canadians, happened 12 days after Justin Trudeau met with Iran’s Foreign Minister – a coincidence that is a bridge too far for this Canadian.
Without understating the tremendous work of Mr. Brooke, I couldn’t agree more with his assessment. Especially when I consider that an Ontario court (civil) has already ruled that Iran’s decision to shoot down flight PS752 with two missiles was an “intentional act” of terrorism. In total, Justice Belobaba awarded $107 million for the pain and suffering that Iran had inflicted through their heinous actions, as well as money awarded for punitive damages. Mr. Arnold, the lawyer representing the plaintiffs in Zarei v. Iran, called the way the government had dealt with him over the case “government bullying.”
It would seem there is very fertile ground to launch a criminal or conspiracy investigation into the shoot-down of the civilian airliner – but there is no political desire to investigate, and it seems this lack of political desire to pursue meaningful justice has affected the RCMP and their initial plans to launch their own investigation.
