Stated plainly, Tamara Lich and Chris Barber don’t deserve jail time for their part in Canada’s Freedom Convoy – why you ask? They worked behind the scenes to bring the protest to an end.
While protesters were following Lich’s moniker of “hold the line,” Tamara Lich and lawyer Keith Wilson were in discussions with Doug Ford’s former Chief of staff and good friend Dean French to help make a deal or as Tamara called it, an “exit strategy” to leave Ottawa.
What goes through a person’s mind when they are involved at the highest levels of a political party and that party makes cowardly statements?
Perhaps one of the most spineless statements to ever be made by a political party during Covid was by the Maverick Party who said that they would not “be forced to become involved in the on-going emotional debate” over restrictions versus infringement of citizens rights or freedoms.

Before the freedom convoy even arrived in Ottawa (Jan.26th), former MP Russ Hiebert, who served under Prime Minister Stephen Harper, had sent an email to Tamara Lich that contained a public relations attachment outlining suggested talk points for the convoy.
