According to a Stats Canada report released in March of this year, there is a large gap in the “wiliness to receive a Covid vaccine” in minority communities across Canada compared to the general population. This makes the push for a vaccine passport that will segregate society based on vaccination status an arguably racist policy proposal.
Steven Del Duca, the leader of the Ontario Liberal party put out a release today that says the Ontario Liberals will mandate vaccines for “any frontline worker in healthcare or education” and that we “need a secure and accessible tool to provide proof of vaccination” to “help businesses and organizations develop fair policies should they require clients to be vaccinated.”
Today, the Premier of Ontario announced that Ontario would be moving into stage 3 of the roadmap to reopen on July 16th. This is an important step for Ontarian businesses who have watched their profits hemorrhage because of government Covid policies that forced them to close their doors or drastically limit the number of customers they could serve – but don’t get too excited face masks and social distancing are here to stay awhile.
Were Australians rewarded for their “sacrifice?” If Canada had remained opened without a mask mandate like Sweden what would’ve happened? Did our lockdowns prevent people from ending up in hospital? Did our restrictions prevent excess deaths like our politicians and media doctors have so often claimed? Were all of the business closures, cancelled surgeries, overdoses and suicides that resulted from these measures worth it? Did these measures save more lives than they took?
In the interview, Dr. Kieran Moore said that there is; “A virus called RSV respiratory syncytial virus and as people stop wearing masks and socially get together that virus is actually spreading very rapidly in the southern United States causing children who didn’t get exposed to it during the winter to get that virus into their chest and it will mimic Covid.” The comments don’t provide relief for parents that are sick and tired of masking their children to send them to be educated.
I’ll be short and to the point – the Delta variant is the real-life equivalent of the man behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz. Instead of a man behind a curtain, however, we have politicians merging their interests with the field of medicine. Not that Canada isn’t familiar with political interests merging where they shouldn’t (insert media bailout here).
Premier Ford’s government announced that Ontario is redeveloping and expanding Water’s Edge Care Community, a long-term care home in North Bay. It is expected to house 160 long-term care residents. Premier Ford then took the opportunity to announce that his government will be investing $4.9 billion over 4 years into long-term care.
Remember when Doug Ford repeatedly promised the redesign for Ontario’s licence plates wouldn’t cost taxpayers a single penny more?
Well, he lied — surprise, surprise.
While Ontario still has no plan to completely repeal mask mandates — western provinces like Alberta and Saskatchewan will be lifting health restrictions by early to mid-July.
During an interview on the radio show and Podcast “On Point with Alex Pierson” Dr. Byram Bridle, an Associate Professor on viral immunology at the University of Guelph brought up new peer-reviewed studies that suggested that the vaccine may cause infertility, be passed through breastmilk to a suckling baby and that the spike protein which has long been known as a pathogenic protein can cause damage if it gets into our blood’s circulation – something Dr. Bridle said we now “have clear cut evidence” is occurring.
