Can we talk about Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s announcement of new and stricter COVID-19 rules that took place last Friday, April 16?! I don’t like to get angry – especially during Ramadan when I remind myself constantly to practice patience – but what an absolute circus show this man has displayed in the last 48 hours!
He was under fire shortly after the announcement that stricter rules were coming for all Ontario and its residence.

Michelle Rempel, the Shadow Minister of Health for the Conservative party has blocked the now well-known physician Kulvinder Kaur. This comes on the heels of the Shadow Minister of Health tabling a motion for the liberals to “present a plan for a return to normal.”
The Conservative Party of Canada is calling on the Liberals to table a plan within 20 days with “a clear data-driven plan to support gradually, safely and permanently lifting COVID-19 restrictions,” said Erin O’Toole at his press conference Tuesday.
Jagmeet Singh wants to forgive up to $20,000 in debt for those with student loans. They are also looking to eliminate student loan interest and make post-secondary education free — That’s his election promise.
But Canada can’t afford that.
Not with more than $1 Trillion of debt.
