A survey from ADP Canada and Angus Reid has revealed that many Canadian workers — including those working remotely — are paying a “COVID Tax” — the number of additional hours they are working since the start of the pandemic.

China pollutes more than entire developed world – but a Canadian carbon tax will save the planet
According to a Rhodium Group report released on May 6th, 2021 China polluted more in 2019 than all developing nations combined. The report says that “China’s emissions were less than a quarter of developed country emissions in 1990, but over the past three decades have more than tripled, reaching over 14 gigatons of CO2-equivalent in 2019.”

Last summer when Nurse Practitioner Kristal Pitter from Tillsonburg, Ont., began to speak out against harmful measures that were being implemented in response to COVID, she began to be defamed by various media outlets calling her things like a ‘conspiracy theorist’.

Hallway medicine unfortunately has become somewhat of a normative situation in Canadian healthcare -except now the narrative has changed to blame Covid. Whereas before we would treat patients in overflow and not make such a big fuss about it (don’t want to draw attention to the problem) now politicians happily point out the problem because they can blame Covid.
