*Opinion* We are on a very dangerous path – We’re repeating history with the vaccine passport

Although it may be a hard pill to swallow, it can be argued that some of our governments actions today echo the actions of Hitler’s and the Third Reich’s in their efforts to isolate and belittle the Jewish people before systematically killing them. For instance, in 1938 Hitler passed a law that relegated Jews in Germany to an inferior status to that of Germans (think of language around unvaccinated) by denying them common “privileges” and freedoms. This prevented Jewish people from access to certain city areas, transportation, places of amusement and restaurants – and even restricted access to certain sidewalks.

Ontario Liberal party leader says we “need a secure and accessible tool to provide proof of vaccination”

Steven Del Duca, the leader of the Ontario Liberal party put out a release today that says the Ontario Liberals will mandate vaccines for “any frontline worker in healthcare or education” and that we “need a secure and accessible tool to provide proof of vaccination” to “help businesses and organizations develop fair policies should they require clients to be vaccinated.”

9/25 Most vaccinated countries are also in top 25 for deaths per 1 million

After examining data from the University of Oxford, I have discovered that 9 out of 25 of the most vaccinated places on earth (after taking out island nations) also place in the top 25 for the most deaths per 1 million people during Covid. There are many variables at play and so I will present the data with a warning – many other variables must be considered before conclusions can be drawn from this information.

Canadian politics needs more transparency and accountability

At the end of the day, I feel like an old man trapped in a young man’s body. I’m yelling at the walls here! Canadians can’t seem to hold their public officials accountable these days. How many ethics violations is that now Prime Minister Trudeau? Canadians need to be adamant about holding our politicians accountable and that starts by being aware of their actions and monitoring their decision-making with that knowledge in mind. I know many are just trying to live their lives and don’t want to be “bothered with politics.” The issue is, if you don’t bother with politics – politics starts to bother you. It already has and I’ll prove it by using one word – Covid.
